Senior Congress leader Raju Sharma with supporters joins BJP

Senior Congress leader Raju Sharma with his supporters joined Bharatiya Janata Party in presence of senior party leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, accompanied by former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta and General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul welcomed him into the party fold.

Senior party leaders Pramod Kapahi and Arvind Gupta were also present on the occasion.

Koushal Kumar, Hardik Manava, Vishal Malhotra, Vijay Sharma, Anand Sharma, Harvindeer Singh, Jeevan Bakshi and many others also joined on the occasion.

Ravinder Raina welcomed the senior Congress leader into the BJP and said that the people are now well aware of the true face of Congress and those who were feeling suffocated in Congress party are now joining BJP to serve the society. The BJP's policy is aimed at the country's progress. They admire the work being done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the country, so are entering into the BJP family to serve the society in a dedicated and stronger way. He welcomed them for being a part of nation’s development journey.

Kavinder Gupta greeted the new entrants with open arms and expressed faith that their joining will further strengthen the development process in the region. He also asked them to work sincerely along the party line and assured them of full support in public welfare activities.

Ashok Koul said that the BJP runs on strong ideological beliefs. He said that in BJP one is not concerned about personal benefits but only longs to serve the nation and those who join the party soon become drenched with the strong Nationalist ethics.

New entrants said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has gained trust of people with their dedicated working for the development as well as with the strong Nationalist stand both within and on the borders of the Nation. They said that as BJP activists it will be more comfortable for them to serve the Nation and society with pure heart and assured the senior BJP leadership that they will serve Nation and party with dedication.
